Taiwan Cuisine

On board - FLY, Ricky and Emily

Time : 5 May 09 lunch time around 1pm
Venue : Taiwan Cuisine (Putatan area - Near Servay Putatan)

Today damn hot man! The weather sux. Thinking of getting a cold drink just to cool the burning throats XD.

It took us about 15 mins to search for our 'restaurant of the day' around Putatan area. Finally arrived at this shop called "Taiwan Cuisine". Needless to say, the boss is a Taiwanese. But his slang just like china slang. =.= NVM, filling up our empty and noisy stomach is more important .

They recommended about 6 different kinds of food for us to try. And after some thoughts, we ordered a few from the 6 options we have earlier.

Milky Tea Pearl RM 3.50
Emily loves this but Fly said that this is too sweet for her.

Noodle Wantan Soup RM 4

BuBur CaCa RM 5.50

Taiwan Cuisines drinks' menu RM priceless

Taiwan Noodle Beef Herb Soup RM 6

Bai Hua Sa Long (Mix Fruit) RM 5.50

Salted Crispy Chicken Noodle Set RM 5

The milky tea pearl here is slightly different than Yoyo. It tastes sweeter a bit and is just like 'China style' milk tea. DO try this if u like China style. Oh ya, the bubur caca is DIFF from local bubur caca as local bubur caca ingredients include yam, sagu and santan, right? As for the Taiwan bubur caca, it uses mixed fruit and santan as their main ingredient. Next is the Bai Hua Long Sha, which consists of mixture of fruits, pudding and strawberry jam. Hey, this one tastes good, but still, it is a little too sweet.

Sampai food now,

The herb soup is a Taiwan style beef noodle. Do taste this if u like those ngiu chap. The specialty of the Wantan noodles lies in their wantan meat, with a little sesame oil added on the soup,
smells good, yum yum. The salted crispy chicken doesn't seem crispy to me at all. Lembek betul. Haha.

Overall the meal costs us Rm29.50.
Overall ratings for this restaurant : 13/15
Emily's review : Strongly recommended for dessert lovers.

P/S : 2 crew members were missing in action as they are working. Working really hard for their future and for their country...
